here is a mish mash of photos from the passed few months.
Quinn is also driving now, not just walking
this little zebra his uncle chais got him in Mexico. it needed some kisses
he has a HUGE crush on auntie kendra. he snuggles her so much it makes matt and i jealous
he is very very a boy and being nakey is the BEST!
in the dressing room at H&M he could not handle that baby in, what he thought, was a window. he kept looking behind it to see where the other baby was. we spent a good 1/2 hour in there looking for that other baby
his favorite time of day is when daddy comes home. he used to crawl at the speed of light toward the door when daddy came in it, but now he runs :)
my parents have been coming up at least once a month, my mom can't handle missing quinns new phases, so she drags my dad up and they crash on the blow-up bed in the living room. we call it the holiday inn express. it's all very classy.
quinn has become aware and basically in love with other babies and kids...beckett, his friend-o, is one of them
so my marvelous bday present that i alluded to in my first post was a spectacular sewing machine...yay! i have the best family and husband ever. so i've been putting pheobe, that's her name, to good use making pillows! i collected doilies for like 7 months so that i could make a million pillows out of vintage cloth napkins with doilies on them. have i ever mentioned that i'm about 85 years old in my heart? well i am. and i LOVE doilies. so lindsey greene and i are having a garage sale this weekend that we are hoping will be the most adorable thing that ever hit kirkland...or at least north rose hill. we will sell a couple sweet pieces of vintage, refinished furniture, and a bunch of stuff that has been living in my garage not getting used, and the old lady pillows that i'm making! oh i hope and hope and hope it's nice out! the plan is to decorate my front yard and make it look fun and like an outdoor living room, but if it rains like the forcast says, then we will do it in the garage and it will be about 78% less cute. but whatevs.
these are my first two homemade pillows.
i've made 3 more. i love them so much i wish i needed a million pillows but i surely do not. the one on the left has found a snug little home on my bed though...it's a terrible photo but the pillow looks cute
