mister

if you ask quinn what we got he'll say "A TITTY-TAT!!!" we are taking a while to adjust to this little guy (where should we put the litter box!? what does he have against my furniture!?), but we really like him...EVEN PAISLEY likes him!  they play and play...we are so excited for the day that they cuddle and i'm fairly certain it will be soon.  he's great with quinn which is a huge plus...quinn picks him up all the time (very gently) and mister immediately goes limp and starts purring.  it's so sweet.  one time quinn was very carefully and lovingly carrying him around the house BY HIS NECK (eeek!) and mister was still purring even though he couldn't breath at all. 

also in this post i'm adding some randoms of our house as i transition into fall decor.  i love this phase of the year.  every week i go to the kirkland famers market (which ended last week, TEAR!) and get 2 bouquets of flowers to take apart and spread all over the house and since it was so dry still in early october i was still getting the loveliest bouquets with dalias and sunflowers!  last year at this time all i could get were sweet peas...which i still like because they smell like heaven but they brown so quick it's depressing.  

q and i have been living on squashes!  i buy a bunch to decorate with and in a few days they're already gone!  

WE LOVE HAVING A WOODSTOVE!  omygoodness...matt wakes up early to build a big fire and it lasts me all day and keeps the whole house warm...yay for low energy bills!!!

these are my favorite boots.  they are pretty gross and awful but the color and shape is so great i just can't give them up!    so they're my punkin patch boots...i've worn them every year for 5 years only to punkin patches.
